What was happening before
One of Alien SEO's small-business clients needed more Google reviews: the biggest single factor in which listings rank, and whose phone rings, in local search. The happy customers existed; almost none of them turned into an online review.
The obvious fix, an established review-automation platform, cost around $600 a month. For a small operator, that is a serious ongoing expense, not a minor software fee.
Without a system, asking for reviews depended on an owner remembering to do it in person, at the exact moment a customer had stopped thinking about the job.
What changed
Built the tool instead of skipping it
Rather than tell the client reviews mattered but the platform was out of budget, a review-automation tool sized for a small business got built.
One tap, not a login
A text or email sent right after a job opens the Google review page directly, needing no app, no account and only one tap.
Priced at what it costs to run
With no sales team and no investors to feed, RankByReviews runs on the same infrastructure as client sites and is priced accordingly.
